Leading with
trust and integrity

From strong Board oversight to rigorous ethics and compliance standards, Kaiser Aluminum leads with integrity. This ensures our governance programs promote long-term value for all Kaiser stakeholders – our investors, suppliers, customers, employees and local communities.

Our Board members are highly independent, engaged and diverse, with demonstrated leadership in our business and industry. We feel the company is best served when it can draw from members with a variety of perspectives to exercise strong and experienced oversight.

That includes our Board’s Sustainability Committee, which meets quarterly and oversees the execution of our sustainability initiatives and strategies.

Our corporate values play a key role in our strategic planning process. We identify initiatives associated with each of our values so our plans and strategies are all aligned. This puts us in a strong position to constructively engage with our stakeholders.”

John Donnan
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel

We promote a culture of accountability, responsibility and ethical behavior.

Cultivating a culture of integrity

Every year, the leadership team and a select group of employees complete our governance survey – a tool designed to assess our governance processes, ethics and compliance practices, risk evaluation and mitigation strategies. It also tests the effectiveness of our communication, monitoring and reporting mechanisms. The survey findings are reported to the Audit Committee and full Board to ensure we continue to encourage a culture built on ethics and integrity.

Our ethical reporting hotline

InTouch, our third-party email and telephone reporting service, allows individuals to confidentially report ethics and compliance concerns, 24/7 and 365 days a year. InTouch is available in a variety of languages and is broadly communicated to our employees and stakeholders through our intranet, in-person signage and on our external website.
